We are having Dølle Jølle from Oslo over for some cheese, wine and disco this saturday. We decided to do a short interview with him so you can get to know him better.
- Have you ever visited Helsinki before?
No I haven't actually. Always wanted to go, so its too bad i can't stay longer this time around. Hopefully next time!
- What do you expect from your Helsinki visit?
Vodka, some finish tango, great music and dances at Nolla and a crisp autumn sunday too clear my head before getting on the plane again.
- You run the Shari Vari night with Todd Terje at Blå in Oslo. What has been the main reasons why the club has been a huge success and which has been your best booking?
I guess it's a combination of a great venue, solid good music music and an unpretentious atmosphere. We always try to bring in some silly decorations or lighting, and we just play the tunes that we want hear in the moment. It might the dull answer, but my favourite moment was with Danielle Baldelli. It was amzing in so many ways. 100 bpm for two hours is hypnotising. Too bad I lost my camera in the taxi when dropping him off at the hotel.
- What type of music should the crowd at Nolla expect from you on Saturday?
oh, that will be some super unintelligent dance music from the present and the past drizzled with cheese and fine white wine.
